Crealy Great Adventure Park
A world of magic and thrills awaits you at Crealy Great Adventure Park, there are 100 acres of outdoor and indoor rides and activities to keep you bursting with excitement that will certainly keep boredom at bay. There are two new additions to Crealy’s total package of adventure, the Meteorite and Battle of the Bears attractions, and when you are completely exhausted and want to quiet things down you can visit the Animal Realm to pet some little guinea pigs, fluffy rabbits or groom the ponies. Lynton & Lynmouth Cliff Railway
If you are looking for an excursion with a difference in Devon, then an outing to Lynton & Lynmouth Cliff Railway is not to be missed. This exciting working piece of Victorian history has been fully operational since 1890 and is the ideal way to travel between these two quaint seaside villages - Lynton is at the very top of a very steep cliff and Lynmouth is 500 feet below. The 862 feet of Cliff Railway is totally environmentally friendly as it is powered completely by water and therefore an ideal way to admire the exceptional views of the North Devon coastline whilst still watching your carbon footprint. The Powderham Castle Tour
If you are looking for some history and culture in Devon, then the Powderham Castle Tour is not to be missed, this historic castle was made mention as far back as 1086 in the Doomsday Book and has seen many changes over the years. Powderham Castle is in a delightful setting, surrounded by a deer park and in close proximity to the River Exe and Exeter and offers the visitor many attractions including a guided tour, secret garden, deer park safari, there is a wonderful play fort for the children as well as a tea room and gift shop. Paignton Zoo
A trip to Devon wouldn’t be complete without an expedition to Paignton Zoo, You can travel the world when you visit – well not quite, but Paignton Zoo have recreated perfect habitats to suit their animal inhabitants, areas like the desert, Savannah, forest and the tropics for not only the animals and wildlife to enjoy but the many visitors too.
