Waterside - Paignton
Waterside Holiday Park lies in the heart of Devon’s English Riviera with its stunning views of the surrounding Devon countryside and all the beauty of the Torbay coastline. It is set on a hillside location so it is not an ideal site for anyone who does not like heights or who are unable to walk unaided.
The site features a heated outdoor swimming pool with sun terraces where you can spend the day relaxing while the kids can play in the heated paddling pool or join in with the many activities at the kids club. If you don’t fancy lazing by the pool then you could visit one of the many local attractions such as the National Marine Aquarium in Plymouth.
If you don’t want to spend your time cooking during your stay then you can enjoy a meal in the Smugglers Inn and Restaurant and then enjoy a night of live entertainment in the Yacht Club. Enjoy one of the comedy or cabaret nights, or enjoy one of the shows by ‘The Panto Company’ who will be making some appearances at the site this year.
Waterside also offers easy access to 'Saltern Cove' a beautiful and secluded sand and rock enclave, with stunning coastal views, great snorkeling and diving and a fantastic range of marine wildlife to see. Devon's coastal resorts are without doubt some of the most beautiful in the country.
If you want to get away from the park for the day why not go for a ride on the Paignton & Dartmouth Steam Railway along the Torbay coastline from Paignton to Kingswear where you could then take the passenger ferry to Dartmouth. More caravan park holidays in Devon
